Former Folsom High Bulldog signs with the San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers have signed tight end Josiah Deguara from Folsom High, a former three-sport athlete who helped the team win a state championship during his junior year. Degura attended the University of Cincinnati from 2015-2019 and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2020 NFL Draft. He was also a First-Team All American athlete and won the Claude Rost Sr. Most Valuable Player Award when he was a senior in 2019. Deeguara played four years with the GreenBay Packers, one year with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024 and another year with Arizona Cardinals in 2025.
