Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) has reported its full-year results, with operating income for the fiscal year ending March 31 2026 falling 11% to $687 million from $763 million. This drop is attributed to the company shutting down visual effects and virtual production firm Pixomondo. Despite this, SPE's FY profit increased by 11 percent to $858 million. The company released 17 movies in the period, including Until Dawn, Karate Kid: Legends, Bring Her Back, Materialists, 28 Years Later, and Chainsaw Man. Despite these setbacks, SPe ended the fiscal 2026 with 38 television channels and 531.7 million total subscribers.
