Renegade is the favorite to win the 2026 Kentucky Derby, despite recent history being against him. The Arkansas Derby winner was made the 4-1 morning-line favorite for the Kentucky Derby. Other contenders include Commandment, Further Ado, The Puma and Emerging Market. The post-time favorite has not won the Derby seven consecutive years. However, trainer Brad Cox is confident in his horse's ability to perform well in the upcoming race. The Pum has the same stall in Barn 42 that Mage Mage had in 2023.
