X-Men Origins: Wolverine, a PS3 action game developed by developer Raven Software, was created before the movie was released. The game outshines its source material and producer Keith Fuller described it as "harrowing" to create the game before the film was completed. Despite this, Fuller believes it may be the best instance of a movie tie-in where the game was better than the movie. The development process involved weeks of painstaking work, including creating the skeleton, the model, the textures, and doing motion capture, and all aspects of the game.
