An innocent 9-year-old boy was shot and wounded in a suspected gang-related shooting in Brooklyn, according to police and sources. The child was hit by a stray bullet and rushed to the Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition. The incident occurred just six blocks from where NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch had announced the seizure of 1,000 firearms since the start of the year. No arrests have been made.
