Kent police have arrested a 45-year-old convicted felon for driving recklessly and allegedly fighting with officers during a car chase. The suspect was tasered but fought with officers, causing one officer to injure their shoulder and a few minor injuries. The backpack the suspect was wearing had a loaded gun with an extended high-capacity magazine, several bags of drugs, including 30-40 grams of meth, and hundreds of fentanyl pills. The man was booked for possession of a firearm, eluding, and intent to distribute narcotics. If the guns were found to be stolen, he may face additional charges.
