Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that the Strait of Hormuz is only closed to US and Israel ships, but other ships are permitted to pass due to security concerns. This comes after US President Donald Trump announced that the US, along with several other countries affected by Iran's attempted closure, would be sending warships to keep the Strait "open and safe". Araghch also denied claims that he threatened Iran with the uranium for 11 nuclear bombs during the last negotiation talks. He stated that everything is under control and that the Islamic Republic is not dependent on individuals.
