Aimee Alexis Hidalgo, a 28-year-old Orange County sheriff's deputy, has been charged with voluntary manslaughter for killing her fiancée, 35, at a close range in their apartment in Tustin, California. The couple had been planning a destination wedding in 2025. Hididgo was assigned to the Orange County Jail where her fiancé worked. If convicted, she could face up to 21 years in prison.
