Las Vegas startup joins global AI effort in telecom industry

Las Vegas-based cloud technology startup, TensorWave, is partnering with industry leaders to support Open Telco AI, a global initiative aiming to build telecommunications-specific AI models. The collaboration was announced alongside industry giants AT&T and semiconductor company Advanced Micro Devices Inc. Tensor Wave will provide the computing power for the project, lending its 8,000 AMD GPUs to train this telco-grade AI, and providing an open source training model. The initiative aims to create the telecommunications industry's own AI LLMs for real-time use. 46 organizations across over 35 countries have contributed data and models to be used in the project.
