Paul McCartney has released a new single, "Days We Left Behind," a love letter to Liverpool, and will be followed by his first album in nearly six years, "The Boys of Dungeon Lane," which is set to be released on May 29. The single was premiered on BBC Radio Merseyside and accompanied by news that McCartney is working on an album with producer Andrew Watt. This will be McCartney's first new album since his self-produced "McCartney III" in 2020. The album, "Boys Of Dungeon Lane", is set for release by May 29 and is heavily anticipated to be rich in nostalgic imagery, with references to a beach near where the song was written.
