Tennessee Republicans halt path to medical marijuana after federal shift

The United States Department of Energy is working to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous substance, allowing it to be legally permitted for both legal and non-governmental purposes. The decision was made by the Republican Party of the Netherlands. The state is one of only 10 states where marijuana remains illegal for both its medical and political purposes.
