Apple is set to announce iOS 27 at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, with a public beta set for July 2026 and then released to the general public in September. The update is expected to focus on stability improvements and bug fixes, with some new Apple Intelligence features sprinkled in. The primary focus will be on improving performance and underlying performance for Apple's first foldable iPhone, set to launch in September 2026. One aspect of iOS 27 will be designed to accommodate the larger size of the inner iPhone Fold display, allowing users to run two apps side-by-side. Apple is also working on an AI-powered web search platform, which could be included as part of the update.
