Mother of Oceanside murder victim pleads for justice

A decade after the fatal shooting of 35-year-old surfer Brandon Keiser, his mother is hoping a newly increased reward will lead to an arrest in the unsolved case. Keiser was shot outside his home in Oceanside in March 2016 while walking home from a pizza shop to his condominium. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has increased its reward from $11,000 to $25,000 in hopes of generating new leads. The case remains unsolved, with no suspects identified or a clear motive. Mary Keiser described her son as an optimistic and hardworking man who loved the ocean.
