An SUV slammed into an apartment building in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, causing an evacuation of the building as a precaution. The Audi SUV with a student driver sticker in the back window hit the first floor of the apartment building with people still inside. Emmanuel Furman, who lives in the apartment that was hit, said his 4-year-old son was just feet away from being hit. The crash left a gaping hole in the family’s living room wall and led to the building being evacuated. One person sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
