Man arrested in Bakersfield for impersonating police officer with red & blue lights in SUV

Nicholas Leyva, 40, was arrested for impersonating an officer in Bakersfield, California, after allegedly using flashing red and blue lights in a black GM Yukon to pull over a driver. The victim became suspicious of the driver and called 911. Police found video evidence of the incident and identified Leyva as the driver of the vehicle. He was subsequently arrested on multiple charges including impersonating a peace officer and false imprisonment.
