‘Going to stab someone today’: Massachusetts man admits to diner stabbing attack

Brian Scrooc, a 38-year-old man from Haverhill, has admitted to stabbing a customer at a diner in April. He entered the restaurant with a knife and began stabbing the man over the age of 60, who was having breakfast with his friend. When the victim's friend intervened, Scrorooc stabbed the second man. The first victim is now in stable condition. Scroo was sentenced to 7.5-10 years in state prison for the first charge, followed by three years probation for the other charges.
