Severe storms cause power outages, several broken power poles to Pennyrile Electric customers in Kentucky

Severe storms caused nearly 2,000 people in Christian, Todd and Logan Counties to lose power on Thursday night, causing 43 separate outages affecting 1,945 members. Two power poles were broken during the storm, causing a temporary outage for over 2,200 people. The company is working on several small outages and will continue working through the night to restore service.
