San Antonio blood donations needed after Austin mass shooting impacts inventory

South Texas Blood & Tissue has requested donations following a deadly shooting in Austin that left four people dead and injured 13. The San Antonio blood center sent about 160 units to the Austin area on Sunday. The community is urged to replenish the blood units already used. The shooting has been identified as three victims and the suspect.
