Richmond wants to name a street after Bill Martin

The City Council is considering naming a block outside of The Valentine museum in Richmond, Virginia, after the late Bill Martin. The proposal is expected to pass on Monday. If successful, the city will add commemorative signs at each end of the block. This comes nearly a year after it capped honorary street names at 10 and increased the number of designations due to concerns over the cost.
