Lawrence Ferlinghetti’s Big Sur Property, Which Is Largely Undeveloped, Hits Market For $2M

The 2.61-acre property in Big Sur, California, that served as a canyon retreat for the late Lawrence Ferlinghetti, has been listed for $2 million. The property, largely undeveloped, has already been cleared for construction pending government approval. The current owner, Lorenzo Ferlingetti, has completed much of the early groundwork for potential development, including well testing, geotechnical and septic studies, site planning, and preliminary home concepts. The land, which was originally two separate lots before being merged, could also be split back into two parcels.
