Joliet police responded to a homicide early Sunday morning near the area of Louis Joliet Mall. The victim, a 31-year-old man, was found with a gunshot wound to the head and later pronounced dead at Saint Joseph Medical Center. Police recovered multiple spent shell casings and a handgun in the parking lot. The investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances of the shooting and the motive.
