New York City has denied another Freedom of Information Law request for data about the toxins that swirled above Ground Zero after 9/11. This denial comes despite the discovery of 68 boxes worth of information on the subject just four months ago. Advocates for 9-11 survivors are suing the city for the data, claiming it is playing hide and seek with people's lives. Attorney Andrew Carboy has filed a new lawsuit against the city, asking a judge to order the city to produce the records. The lawsuit alleges that the city closed a 2023 FOIL request and failed to search for any records responsive to the request. The last appeal for this data was denied on March 20.
