The City of Jacksonville (COJ) is planning to spend $750,000 on consulting company CGL to determine where to build a new jail for Duval County. The city and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s office have been working to recommend three potential sites for the jail, the juvenile shelter, and the misdemeanor prison.
