Jaysawn Williams, an 18-year-old from Rialto, has been arrested for the weekend shooting at Santa Monica Pier that sparked panic and chaotic scenes at the popular tourist destination. Two people, including Williams, were injured in the incident, which was reportedly sparked by a large brawl. The shooting temporarily closed the famous pier as crowds fled the scene. Williams was taken to jail and booked on charges of assault with a firearm and grossly negligent discharge of a firearm.
