Chicago artist Steve Shanabruch creates and sells tourism posters for Chicago's neighborhoods, inspired by his own personal experiences. The posters, which he sells for sale on his website, are designed for various Chicago neighborhoods and landmarks. The project began 15 years ago with the idea of creating logos for Chicago neighborhoods, but began with a personal project when he was a designer with a sales company and was bored with creative challenges. His designs are often visually striking and visually engaging, with bold lines and vivid colors. Shanabrach has no affiliation with any city agency and has been selling these posters since 2012. He believes that every neighborhood is important, even if it gets overlooked by media, it's important to create art that celebrates the city's diverse and unique experiences.
