Harbor Island West Marina, one of San Diego Bay's most established waterfront destinations, is set to begin construction on its $70 million redevelopment project. The project, which spans 3.8 acres of land and 22 acres of water, includes substantial improvements to modernize marina infrastructure, enhance guest amenities and create new public-facing spaces. Construction will begin in March and is expected to be completed within a year. Waterfront construction will be led by Bellingham Marine, a California-based leader in marine construction, and Pacific Building Group, the general contractor behind Portside Pier's construction. The funding for the project is funded by private ownership capital and financing from Wells Fargo.
