St. John's County, Florida, has issued a precautionary boil water notice for customers in the North Beach Service area of Vilano Beach. The notice is due to a break at the water plant affecting about 1,500 customers. All water used for various functions should be boiled first. The county will continue to monitor the situation until lab tests confirm the safe water.
