Alaska governor candidate Click Bishop has chosen Greta Schuerch, an Alaska Native corporation board member and mining company executive, as his running mate. Bishop, a Republican former state senator from Fairbanks, is one of 18 candidates vying to replace current Gov. Mike Dunleavy, who has termed out from seeking reelection. Schurch, who works as a government affairs adviser for Teck Resources, also serves as a board member for the NANA Regional Corp. The remaining 15 candidates in the race have yet to choose their running mates.
