Gabriella Truppi, founder and owner of Humdoo Ice Cream in New Jersey, has signed a lease to open a new location in Bucks. The former site of the Candlewyck on Durham Road will feature 24 flavors of hand-scooped hard ice cream, including milkshakes, fizzies, and ice cream cakes. The store will be peanut- and tree-nut-free for her sister and many others who are highly allergic. The shop's name also comes from Truppsi's little sister. She plans to open the new location by late summer following extensive renovations to the building.
