The Parma Police Blotter includes drug abuse, theft, drug trafficking, and vehicle theft. The Kia Sportage was found parked in a handicap parking spot without a handicapped placard, and when searching the vehicle, police found an open container, suspected felony drugs, and stolen property. The suspects were arrested with charges pending. The theft of more than $1,200 from a home in Wainstead Drive was discovered on Wanestead Drive on Feb. 25. The driver of a Chrysler 300 with tinted windows was charged with drug trafficking and cited for illegally tinting windows. Theft is also suspected to have occurred during a burglary at a home where a resident reported seeing someone use their identity to open a loan for over $500.
