Gov. Jenniffer González Colón awarded the Governor's Medal to Capt. Ariana G. Linse Savino, one of six Air Force members who died in an aircraft accident in Iran. This is the first time the medal has been awarded posthumously. The medal was accompanied by a message expressing Savino's sacrifice and dedication to the military.
