Former NYPD Sgt. Erik Duran will be released on $300K bail as he appeals his manslaughter conviction for throwing a picnic cooler at a fleeing drug-suspect. The judge sentenced Duran to at least three years in prison on April 9. He was granted bail by a state appeals court.
