Police release baby’s name in Congress Avenue traffic fatality

The Austin Police Department (APD) has released the name of a victim who died following a traffic accident on March 14. The incident occurred at 2:21 p.m. with two vehicles involved, one of which was carrying a pregnant passenger. The passenger was taken to the hospital where she gave birth prematurely. The police are investigating the incident as Austin's 16th fatal crash of the year, with 16 fatalities.
