New Mexico will see temperatures drop below freezing in parts of the state Saturday morning, with warmer weather expected to arrive Sunday. A cold front is moving south from the northwest, bringing cooler temperatures to northern New Mexico, where some places have only reached the 50s. This will be followed by a cold front pushing south, which will continue throughout the weekend. Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing across western, northern, northeastern, and central New Mexico. However, warmer weather is expected to continue building in early next week.
