Fatigued Drivers Crashes Into Tree In French Valley: Temecula CHP

The driver of a black truck reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel and ended up in a tree, causing minor injuries. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that around 91,000 police-reported crashes each year involve drowsy drivers, leading to around 50,000 injuries and 800 deaths. The crash occurred at 11:30 p.m. and was not suspected of being drunk. The Temecula Police Department has warned that if you're feeling fatigued, pull over safely or switch drivers.
