The video was reportedly taken from a room inside Cloobck's 9,700-square-foot home. The allegations have been met with widespread condemnation, with many of Swallwell's allies calling for an investigation and for his resignation. The California governor’s race has also been impacted by these allegations, with numerous elected officials and labor unions pulling their endorsements and fundraising operations. The District Attorney's office is investigating claims that Swalw raped a woman and plans to arrest her in 2024.
