High school basketball: News-Herald basketball awards show set for March 24 at Hooley Pub & Kitchen

The News-Herald's basketball awards show will be held at Hooley Pub & Kitchen on March 24 at 6 p.m. The event will also feature the Clark Kellogg Award (boys basketball player of the year) and Kaayla Chones Award, as well as both the boys and girls coaches of the Year. The show is part of a special edition of the Varsity Chalk Talk Show hosted by Bill Tilton. The finalists are Mekhi Asberry of Euclid, Drew Brown of Riverside, Yomar Castellano of Fairport, Jack Kennedy of Mentor, and Greg Price of Hawken. Each finalist’s dinner, along with one guest’dinner, is free of charge.
