Visalia Police conducted a safety operation after complaints about teenagers using e-bikes and motorcycles without proper safety equipment. The department issued 15 tickets and two motorcycles for various violations. The violations include minors under the age of 16 riding motorcycles on public streets, not wearing required safety helmets, and other traffic-related offenses. Police also reminded parents that many e-vehicles used by juveniles may legally be classified as motorcycles or motor-driven cycles under California law.
