Trump makes public call for clean 18-month 702 extension

President Donald Trump has made his first public call for an extension of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), which authorizes the government to spy on foreigners located in the country. The president argues that the ongoing conflict in Iran is the primary reason for this. He has called for an 18-month extension of FISA, citing the ongoing success of his military efforts.
