She had previously praised Tarantino's work in Pulp Fiction as a "great film on many levels," but disagreed with Tarantino’s use of it. Tarantino responded by criticising Arzette for a lack of class and suggesting that his criticism of the word was influenced by the publicity surrounding his films. This is not the first time Tarantino is faced criticism for his language of choice.
