Russian strikes on Ukraine kill 4 as deal to end war dims

Russian strikes on Odesa and Kryvyi Rih have killed at least four people and injured more than a dozen others. The strikes damaged residential areas, a maternity hospital, and an industrial site. In response, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has expressed openness to diverting weapons to Kyiv to support the US-Israel attack on Iran. This comes as diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis and reach a ceasefire deal remain entangled, dimming hopes of a quick resolution. Russian drones have also targeted Ukrainian gas production facilities with drones, killing one person.
