The Toronto Blue Jays manager, Rick Schneider, and general manager, Mike Atkins, have received contact extensions with the club. Atkins has been in his role since December 2015 and oversaw a team that reached the American League Championship Series in 2016, leading to at least 89 wins in four of the past five seasons. Schneider will join Atkins as full-time manager in 2023. The club also plans to extend Schneider's contract until 2026.
