ICE deported 442,000 last fiscal year, 1st data released under Trump 2.0 shows

The first official deportation statistic released under the Trump administration, released by the top U.S. immigration enforcement agency, ICE, deported 442,637 people between October 2024 and September 2025, falling short of the previous year's target of 1 million people. The agency has requested less funding for its immigration detention and removal transportation budgets and reduced its request for officer overtime by $155 million. Of the total deportations, nearly 167,000 people had criminal records.
