Sen. Tim Sheehy, a first-term Republican senator from Montana, made an emergency landing in a Montana field after an engine failure. The private plane was carrying one other person onboard when it landed near the town of Ennis. The incident is under review by authorities and is not clear if SheeHy nor the co-pilot were injured. This incident follows a fatal plane crash in 2019 when Sheeazy was a student pilot and was on the plane when it crashed into a Florida home, killing the instructor and injuring a teenage girl.
