Cowboys move up a spot, take Ohio State’s Caleb Downs at No. 11

The Dallas Cowboys have moved up from the No. 12 overall to No. 11 in the 2026 NFL Draft, selecting Ohio State safety Caleb Downs. The Cowboys traded with the Dolphins for two fifth-round picks (Nos. 177 and 180), which were exchanged for the latter. Downs, who won the Jim Thorpe Award last season and was the consensus top safety in the draft, could help rebuild a struggling defense.
