Tiger Woods has announced he will not participate in the next week's The Masters tournament in order to focus on his health and well-being following his arrest on DUI charges in Florida. The Masters will support Woods during his time away, according to Augusta National Chairman Fred Ridley. Woods had not previously announced his participation due to a recent car accident. The arrest affidavit stated that two hydrocodone pills were found in Wood’s pocket and that he showed “signs of impairment” following the rollover crash. Woods entered a not guilty plea to his charges and released a statement about his decision to step away from golf to seek treatment and focus on health.
