Fayetteville's Board of Adjustments has overturned a decision by city planning staff to classify drone maker Swarm Areo as a "heavy commercial and light industrial" business. Opponents argued that the classification was inaccurate due to the size of the drone's wingspan, the use of carbon composites, potential traffic to the site created by its supply chain, and other concerns. A spokesperson from Swarm Aero stated that the company is considering its options and will make a decision in the coming days.
