The allegations of inappropriate relationships between Deputy Chief Reid Foltyniewicz and two female employees were discovered in a village report released last year. A third female employee who filed a complaint was found to be an unfounded claim. The village was immediately placed on leave and reported the inappropriate behavior to the appropriate authorities. The report also stated that Foltyeniewicz violated police department policies in several areas including sleeping, lounging, and inefficiency.
