Stephen Paul Gale, known as the "Boston Strip Mall Rapist", has been convicted on all counts in a 1989 rape and murder case. The verdict was announced after jurors returned to the courtroom. Prosecutors claim that Gale attacked two women at a clothing store in a similar fashion before fleeing the state. He was captured in Los Angeles in 2000. The Commonwealth presented DNA evidence linking him to the attacks.
