16 climate activists arrested outside of Trump Tower during protest over Trump admin’s domestic terror probe against them

Sixteen climate activists were arrested outside of Trump Tower on Earth Day in protest against the administration's alleged domestic terror probe. The group, known as Extinction Rebellion, claimed they were being investigated by the Department of Justice as Domestic Terrorists for several protests over the years. The National Security Presidential Memorandum, also known as NSPM-7, was issued by President Trump to investigate domestic terrorism in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The protesters claimed they are committed to saving the planet through nonviolent actions.
